What does it mean to be a convert? If a Protestant become Catholic is it right to call him a convert, or is there a better word? In some circles, this is a controversial topic and today I am talking about the word convert and why I still describe myself as a convert to the Catholic Church.

I am an Evangelical convert to the Catholic Church and my goal is to be a part of the conversation of what it means to have unity in the Church. Why are there so many different Protestant denominations? Didn’t Jesus pray that we all may be one in John 17? How can we have unity with all this division?
